Type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM) has characteristical Classification, Diagnosis & epidemiological pattern. To compare sex differences, epidemiological pattern, consanguinity & family history & growth parameters of patient’s withT1DM with results of other studies. Patient and methods: the study was done between 1st of January 2019 & 30th of June 2019 in Jalawla general hospital, were 50 newly diagnosed children ofT1DM& 50 control cases with no chronic illnesses, all below 15 years included in this Study, classified according to age, sex, area of living, history of recent infection, consanguinity of parents, family history ofT1DM, & growth parameters (weight, height & body mass index), at the onset of diagnosis.
